About Us

The LE (Lamb Engineering) team has been assembled over the past 15 years. Initially the Director, George Georgiou set up the company after spending the first 16 years of his career maintaining & building Plastics & automated manufacturing plant. During those years while he was employed in the industry he also attended RMIT night school to complete his Mechanical Engineering Diploma. George finally ended his night school years in 1999 with the completion of his Refrigeration & CFC accreditation course.

Soon after establishing Lamb Engineering, George was joined by Steve Butcher a fully qualified specialist Welder with extensive experience in Plant design and manufacturing. As a specialist welder Steve took on board the responsibility of implementing and developing specialist welding procedures of structural and pressure equipment as well as the completion of necessary “Weld Mapping” requirements, for both in house and in field projects.

Since those early beginnings Lamb Engineering has grown and taken on board a number of multi skilled, trained and certified tradespersons from the various Welding regimes as well as Riggers, Crane Drivers, Dogmen and Forklift truck operators. On the maintenance side Lamb Engineering employees tool makers, sheet metal workers, Plant Fitters, Fitters & Turners and a Heavy Plant Mechanic. LE is actively engaged in a long term training and staff development program to ensure it continues to enjoy its industry success for many years to come.
